But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

I owe so much to my Mom and Dad. I thank God for them and the godly heritage that they have left for me and my 2 brothers and 6 sisters. My Mom went to be with the Lord in February, 1990 and my Dad in February, 2008, but I'll never forget the seeds of love that they planted in my heart to serve God.
This is my Mom (Bernice, nickname 'Babe') and Dad (Henry)

This is my Dad (an evangelist) ministering and laying hands on the people in Kenya ...

and as Dad used to say ... HALLELUJAH! The native Kenyans called him "Sir Henry."

Reverend Henry Ellington was a man who was poor according to the world's standards, yet he was a man who made many rich...I am eternally grateful for the legacy he left, and for helping me, through his witness and his prayers, become a true heir of "the Ellington riches in Glory through Christ Jesus our Lord, Savior and soon coming King."

I am honored to carry my father's name until Jesus returns or until I go to meet Him in my Heavenly home.

As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

2 Corinthians 6:10/NKJV

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. Psalm 116:15/KJV

Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why.

No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come.

For those who follow godly paths will rest in peace

when they die. Isaiah 57:1,2/NIV

Even if my father and mother abandon (forsake) me,

the Lord will hold me close (take me up and adopt me as His child).

Psalm 27:10/NLT & (AMP)

In honor of my precious sister, Bernice Rebecca Ellington (Becky), who went to Heaven on November 1, 2015, she was born on June 14, 1952. She was blind, but now can see, she was unable to walk, but is now dancing and singing through the streets of GOLD!

Here is a letter of remembrance that our sister Connie wrote at the time of Becky's homegoing:

"In the last few years, Becky was QUIET and forgiving. Yes, she sowed her wild oats. She was wild and free in her younger days. Yes, she was married, but not for long. She got pregnant by accident while she was married, but not even Tim, her husband at that time, could tame her wild inner spirit, so they separated, Tim took their son and moved on. So again Becky was foot loose and fancy free. Somehow she had a certain kind of control over her situations, if she ended up in a facility to get help and be dried out. Then as soon as she could, she would get out and be foot loose and fancy free again. There were times she reminded me of an actress, she should have gone to Hollywood.

I know Becky loved to sing, not only Country Western, but Gospel Music as well. I am sure after she went blind, the music is what gave her peace in her heart and mind. I pray she is in Heaven, singing her heart out to Jesus.

Yes, Becky loved her family and she loved Jesus. The last visit her sisters had with her was just what she needed, to put her mind at ease. I, myself, choose to believe she is at rest in Heaven. I am sure that is what we all like to think and believe. So, I continue to go through and look at what few pictures we had of Becky. I remember her as she wild and free."

In honor of my precious brother, James Marvin Warren (Buddy), who went to Heaven on March 28, 2016, he was born on March 4, 1947.

Buddy was a Viet Nam veteran who went to be with Jesus 10 minutes before midnight. At midnight, the day which he almost made it through to, was our national Viet Nam Veterans he was honorably discharged from this life on earth to his new mansion awaiting him in Heaven. My brother Buddy always called me "KID." This used to make me angry, but now it makes me smile. Buddy's last words to me were, "I love you, I love you, I love you! I just want you to live life." Our loving Pastor, Phil Meadows, of Triumph Christian Center was very precious to us during this difficult time for me and my loved ones. Pastor Phil said, "brother Buddy graduated early in the morning, Jesus and the angels said, "come on up Buddy, your Heavenly Father is waiting for your arrival to meet Him at His Throne. The Father says, "so come on up Buddy, sit in My lap and let Me love on you, where there is no more pain, no more tears, no more dying. Enjoy your reward in My Presence." Pastor Phil also gave me a chapter to read and said, "read Hebrews 12:22-24 at the service, if possible." I didn't get a chance to speak at my brother's funeral, so I am sharing all of this on my website memorial page, and here is the chapter our Pastor had me read the day Buddy went to Heaven:

You have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the Heavenly Jerusalem, and to thousands of angels in joyful assembly. You have come to the assembly of God's firstborn children, whose names are written in Heaven. You have come to God Himself, Who is the Judge of all people. And you have come to the spirits of the redeemed in Heaven who have now been made perfect. You have come to JESUS, the One Who mediates the new covenant between God and people, and to the sprinkled Blood, which graciously forgives instead of crying out for vengeance as the blood of Abel did.

Hebrews 12:22-24/ NLT

Here is a photo of Buddy and his precious wife of 45 years, Lola Ann Warren (Ann). Our family is honored to have Ann as our loving sister!

These dates are when my babies went to Heaven to be raised by our Lord Jesus:

1.      October 1983: Darren Nicholas Knight (lost by coerced abortion)

The name Nicholas I chose from the Bible, Acts 6:5, who was from Antioch, where the believers were first called Christians. This Nicholas was one of the first 7 deacons chosen to take care of material needs of the first church, like food and care for widows. Nicholas, my first conceived baby, is now my Knight in shining armour in Heaven! I was age 15, still in high school.

All pregnancies after this one occurred during 18 years of abusive marriage, which God set me free of in 2005, praise Jesus, I’m free!

2.      July 1992: Christian Michael (lost by tubal pregnancy, emergency surgery)

Names chosen from 2 of my precious nephews who had already gone to be with the Lord. Christian was my sister Becky’s only son (her only child born), Becky is now with the Lord as well, the first of my siblings to go to Heaven. Michael was my sister Kim’s oldest son, who is now with the Lord. I was age 23.

3.      Autumn (Fall) 1998: Angela Marie (lost by miscarriage)

The name Angela was chosen from my oldest sibling. I was age 29.

4.      July 11, 2002: Cody Lee (lost by tubal pregnancy, emergency surgery)

I was age 32.

5.      May 10, 2004: Hannah Leigh (lost by miscarriage)

The name Hannah I chose from the Bible, I Samuel 1.

I was age 34.

6.      September 7, 2004: Samuel David, my little prophet ( lost by ruptured tubal pregnancy, emergency surgery requiring blood transfusion to save my life)

Names I chose from the Bible, 2 of my favorite prophets.

I was age 35.

In all, I have been blessed with 6 precious babies (4 boys and 2 girls) in Heaven awaiting me, their Mother, yes I am still a mother, even though the Lord had mercy on me and chose to take 5 of them to raise Himself, to spare them from being abused by their earthly father.

Jesus is now my Husband, raising all 6 of my babies until I join Him and them in Heaven.

I give all honor and glory to my Lord Jesus Christ for blessing me with 6 babies. I am totally forgiven and set free from the sin of abortion, which resulted in the death of my first child and also resulted in the miscarriages of my other 5 babies. I choose also, by the same power of forgiveness through Jesus and the work He did on the Cross of Calvary, to forgive myself for the sin of abortion.

There is much healing that takes place in the hearts of mothers who go through the process of honoring our babies with names, who were lost to abortion, miscarriage and stillborn!
